Based on the needs of the district, Digital Networks Group selected a Dukane solution for CATV distribution and media retrieval. The system allows teachers to select cable television channels, schedule media sources, such as VCR tapes and DVDs, and perform live broadcasts directly from their classrooms. In addition, local cabling was installed, linking the teacher's workstation to the television and allowing additional viewing capabilities for the students. Each of the 12 schools has a broadcasting cart which allows teachers to share lessons and broadcast presentations to multiple classrooms within the school. In addition, professional training was provided to ensure the technology coordinators and teachers could operate the system.

The District also asked Digital Networks Group to design and install the audio-visual systems for the multi-purpose room at the new Tesoro Elementary School, which opened in September 2005. The display system included a 4000 lumen projector so that it can be used in a well lit environment. An integrated controller operates the projector as well as the DVD/VCR and audio systems. Ten microphone locations are wired to a 16-channel mixer and filter through a system equalizer to provide optimal sound to the ceiling mounted speakers. In addition, a separate PA speaker package was included to playback program material from sources such as the DVD/VCR player or computer. The system provides the operator easy control for the variety of events that will take place in the room.
